Is there anything more versatile than
the utilitarian jumpsuit? From it's
practical origins in World War II to it's latest fashion
incarnation, the jumpsuit
has thankfully gone through some
feminine modifications: the cleavage lowered, waist
defined and the hem cuffed or tapered.
The jumpsuit being the two legged equivalent of a dress
is glamourous and practical -- except for when you
need to go to the bathroom- option for the modern women. Which
is why we had to include it in the Essential Five for Summer.
